Yes its been going on for some time, they’re reaching the finals next week. And sad to say, i haven’t really watched any of the matches so far. Heck i can even say i have not even watched a minute of it. Not even any of the highlight reels.

I comes on at an odd hour so its not really convenient for me, plus i’m going off footie a bit (sad to say) and besides i’ve no inclination to any of the teams playing, except maybe for Spain, and that’s mainly because of Fabregas actually.

And definitely not Portugal. Ugh.

Just finished the second season of 30 Rock, it was a good run. I thought they wouldn’t be able to match the high level of humor and intensity as the premier season, but they did, even with the writer’s strike disrupting what would have been a longer season.

Even from the get go, they got Jerry Seinfeld! This is probably the only time i’ve seen him on TV after his show ended, and it was great to see him again.

The only complaint i have is Tracy Jordan, his character was old to start with and now it’s getting really tiresome. Kenneth, on the other hand, is funny as usual.

So it was David versus David in the final as everyone suspected. In the final performance itself, it turned out to be more like a David versus Goliath, especially in the way they hyped up how David Archuleta would ‘win’ the competition. Hah. Even the usually level-headed Simon Cowell was caught up in it, shamelessly endorsing that Archuleta would win when it was obvious it wasn’t.

It turned out that the landslide victory went the other way, with David Cook winning with a comfortable few million votes to spare. Don’t really like him either, but at least he’s talented in an edgy kind of way.

Well, its down to the last 3 in American Idol, its Syesha and the two Davids. I think i’m still going to be right in the prediction - which means poor old Syesha will be saying bye bye this week. I like her - its just that i feel America doesn’t like her enough, though. Or should I say they are in loooove with the other two contestants.

Am i going to watch the semifinals this week? Not sure. If i get back in time, and not too tired…

We moved into a new office last week, and it took a few days to get settled in. They finally got the PCs and the LAN running, after a few hitches. Now of PCs run on a wireless network, as opposed to using cables in the last office setup.

I must say the connection to the Net is slightly slower, and its not because of the increase in the number of users.

maybe they should fix this problem before more staff move into this new place.

i dunno about you, but my interest in this season’s American Idol is waning - fast. I kind lost interest just after the whole disappointing Gives Back thing, and out of all the contestants, none of them excites me like some of the previous years’ singers.

But make no mistake, they are still continually hyping this season as ‘best ever’ and what not, but i think more and more people are beginning to see that it is far from it.

Even an appearance of the judges on Larry King can’t save it this time round. I think the last two would be David and David, but one is a one trick pony, the other is an arrogant guy. Hmm.
